a lil nothing

just a pretty little poem
about nothing-

a lonely lover’s wisp
of ivory string,

bravery stripped from
ripped raincoat

at rest stop on
tip of smug
finger-

 blown mort,
or left to
linger.

  1. I like this moment…all about what happens to the ivory string. I’m in that moment.
(By the way…I always write about being a catcher of moments…so your poem is a much-needed drug for me)
Ps- where’s the pic we have in common from pixabay?
